Updated Library Search Guide

Retrieving Library Lists from the old Flaxman Catalog

The updated library search still allows you to make lists of items that you can return to. This can even include items outside of the Flaxman catalog! Instructions for retrieving your list is below. See our how to make a resource list page in this guide to recreate them in the updated library search.

  1. Go to the old Flaxman catalog
  2. Log in using the library barcode on the back of your ID and your last name
  3. Click on the Logged in as [your name] link in the upper-right corner
  4. You will see all of your saved items
    - For specific lists, scroll down to the Your Lists section on the right sidebar and select one
  5. Select the items you wish to gather (note that you can only select what appears on the page, leaving the page deselects items)
  6. We recommend using "Print" to create your saved lists (you can either physically print the list or save it as a PDF)
  7. Please note:
    - We do not recommend using the Email option - this will email you a link to the list, which will expire in September
You may find the Export option useful depending on the format you prefer and reference tools you use (i.e. Endnote)
  8. If you would like to recreate these lists in the Updated Library Search, see the how to make a resource list page
