How to Find an Item Outside of the Library

As a member of the SAIC Community, you have access to a wide variety of resources including I-Share.

I-Share is a system of over 90 libraries in the state of Illinois that have all agreed to share their materials with one another. You can use I-Share to get materials that are not in Flaxman's library, or extra copies of items that are currently checked out. I-Share is especially useful for materials on topics outside of art and design such as the sciences, fiction, and even travel guides. You can see a full listing + map of participating libraries here.
