How to Read Call Numbers

There are a few kinds of materials that utilize a different kind of Call Number System:

DVD's call numbers are the Letters "DVD" and a whole number associated with them. All DVD's are kept behind the front desk. If you are interested in one of these, write down the Call Number and bring it to the front desk. NOTE: Some DVD's must be watched in the library and will say "LIBRARY USE ONLY" in the catalog or "NON-CIRCULATING" on the browsing card. Here is an example:

Audio/Video call numbers have "AUDIO" or "VIDEO" and a whole number associated with them. We have a wide variety of both audio and video including cassette tapes, VHS, and 16mm Film (for faculty use only). Be sure to look at the location of these items, as many are in storage. Here is an example:
