Conversations at the Edge (CATE) is an ongoing series of screenings, performances, and talks by groundbreaking media artists, organized by the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s Department of Film, Video, New Media, and Animation in collaboration with the Gene Siskel Film Center and SAIC’s Video Data Bank

Detailed information and event links can be found at saic.edu/cate. Class reservations can be made here.

All CATE events will be live captioned. Hearing loops, mobility device accessibility, and companion seating are also available at the Gene Siskel Film Center. For other accessibility requests, please visit saic.edu/access or write cate@saic.edu.

Each page on this guide contains links to articles, interviews, and videos related to CATE’s upcoming guests. These can be incorporated into your syllabus in preparation for an event or afterward for post-event discussion and research.
