How to Use the Fashion Resource Center

Banner reading "How to use the FRC"

For over thirty years the Fashion Resource Center (FRC) has evolved into a hybrid research hub and meeting space for faculty and students within SAIC’s Fashion Department as well as the school’s larger community. Reimagining its role as a resource and learning tool, the FRC compliments SAIC and the Art Institute of Chicago’s family of libraries and special collections, by combining diverse materials which provide different touchpoints for learning the craft of garment construction as well as the culture and history surrounding fashion as an applied art form; one which often reflects the wider world in which we live.
