How to Find Videos

1. Go to the Library Search box on our homepage, and type your keywords; click the magnifying glass, or hit enter/return on your keyboard to search

2. Remember to sign in using your ARTIC username and password

3. Expand Resource Type in the left sidebar and select the Videos filter (click Apply Filters at the bottom if it doesn't automatically load new results)


4. Optional additional filters (depending on the search results):

  • Resource Type: filter for specific formats like DVD, Blu-rays, Film reels, or Videocassettes.

  • Availability: filter by either Held by Library (physical items only) or Available Online (streaming videos only).

5. Accessing the video you find:

  • Available Online: Click the Available Online link (in pink); if you do not go directly to the video, click the database that appears under View Online in the item's record

     
  • Physical Items: Follow the provided location directions (in pink); if it is a DVD, don't forget to write down the DVD number for our staff
