How to Find Resources (by type)

How to Request Unavailable Resources (Interlibrary Loan)

1. Check the Library Search first. Go to the Library Search box on our homepage, and type your keywords; click the magnifying glass, or hit enter/return on your keyboard to search

2. Sign in using your ARTIC username and password

3. If you do not see your item, it may not be available through our collection - next, make sure it's not available through an alternate source:

  • If it is a book > repeat your search in the IShare Catalog to see if you can request a copy; if not, proceed to step 4
  • If it is an article > repeat your search in Google Scholar to see if a copy is openly available online; if not, proceed to step 4
  • If it is something else > proceed to step 4

4. If you are still unable to find the item, return to the the library search and click INTERLIBRARY LOAN REQUEST in the top menu bar
