How to Find Dissertations + Theses

SAIC Theses Created Prior to November 2013 (physical items in the library)

  1. Go to the Library homepage at www.saic.edu/library
  2. Click Research Help under the search box
  3. Look under the How To section and click How to Submit or Find an SAIC Thesis or Grad Project
  4. Click Locating SAIC theses in the left navigation bar
  5. Choose the discipline you are interested in and you will be taken to a list in the Flaxman Catalog

SAIC Theses Created After November 2013 (digital items in SAIC Digital Collections)

  1. Go to the Library homepage at www.saic.edu/library
  2. Click Databases A-Z above the search box
  3. Choose Dissertations / Theses under the All Subjects dropdown
  4. Choose SAIC Thesis Repository 
  5. Inside of the repository you can search using keywords or use the filters in the left column to choose a discipline

Dissertations and Theses Beyond SAIC

  1. Go to the Library homepage at www.saic.edu/library
  2. Click Databases A-Z above the search box
  3. Choose Dissertations / Theses under the All Subjects dropdown
  4. Choose any of the databases besides the SAIC Thesis Repository
  5. You will be prompted to login using your ARTIC username and password
  6. Inside of the database you can search using keywords
