Low Residency MFA Research Guide

1. Go to the Library Search box on our homepage, and type your keywords; click the magnifying glass, or hit enter/return on your keyboard to search

2. Sign in using your ARTIC username and password

3. Using the left sidebar, expand the Resource Type section and click the Books filter (click Apply Filters at the bottom if it doesn't automatically load new results)

4. Find a book you're interested in and look at its status

• Available Online: this is an eBook; click the Available online link to read it digitally
• Available at [location]: this is a physical book; write down the location and call number to retrieve it 
  Note: it may not be in the Main Library (Sharp 6th Floor) as the Library Search includes all Special Collections at SAIC.
• Not Available: we have a copy but it is checked out; use I-Share to try and get an alternate copy
