Faculty Guide for Online Teaching

Banner reading "Faculty Guide for Online Teaching"

The resources compiled in this guide are extensive, covering material developed at SAIC and dozens of institutions in a variety of contexts. Library staff created this in collaboration with SAIC faculty members and the Computer Resources and Information Technologies (CRIT) team to provide ideas or best practices developed to directly address SAIC’s unique curriculum.

This guide includes information on both synchronous and asynchronous approaches to remote instruction, technology considerations, as well as pedagogical resources to consider.

As always, faculty who wish to teach online courses should consult with their chairs, as well as the undergraduate dean or graduate dean, as appropriate, and have their course approved for online delivery by the new course proposal committee.
